Skye Macdonald is passionate about stories—telling them, but also who tells them and how we hear them. Who is the audience and why does this narrative matter? What story does your brand tell?
Working with business owners and nonprofit leaders Skye focuses on the people at the heart of an organization. She concentrates on understanding who individuals are so that they can discover how to thrive. The same is true for brand identity. Skye works to find the resonant message that can drive workers and customers to commit to a brand’s success.
She has been director of a creative agency, working with companies big and small, nonprofits and foundations, to capture their messaging in commercials, design, and virtual content. She is an experienced film producer of award-winning short films and a docuseries director/producer for National Geographic. Her work as a project manager and nonprofit development director inform her passion for operations, client relations, and attention to detail.
Her background in anthropology, including time at the American Museum of Natural History, provides a framework for all her work, in which she values personal connection, authenticity, and cultural context.
